FEU Tech Leaders Join 'Digital Horizons' Event to Shape the Future of Philippine Education

Ever committed to the FEU Institute of Technology’s bid for innovation and quality education, FEU Institute of Technology Executive Director Rossana T. Adao and Founding Director of FEU Institute of Technology’s Educational Innovation and Technology Hub (EdITH) Dr. Manuel B. Garcia attended an insightful event titled “Digital Horizons: The Future of Philippine Education” on October 1, Tuesday, at the Manila Polo Club.
The event by Kaya Founders, held in collaboration with the Department of Education, aims to unite policymakers, educators, tech innovators, and thought leaders to explore how technology can bridge gaps, enhance learning, and shape the future of education.
“Digital Horizons: The Future of Philippine Education” trains the spotlight on the latest advancements in educational technology, where industry experts can share insights on how digital solutions can improve access to quality education and spark conversations on the role of technology in empowering students and educators.
Learning From Industry Leaders
The conference was enriched by keynote presentations from Department of Education Secretary Sonny Angara and other esteemed leaders in education and technology. These included Peter Maquera, the CEO of Microsoft Philippines, Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng, the General Manager of Gokongwei Brothers Foundation and the General Partner of Kaya Founders, Geraldine Sunshine-Acuña, the President and CEO of Khang Academy Philippines, Rangga Husnaprawira, the former Chief Product Officer of GovTech Edu and Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) of Innova Schools, and Arianne Kader-Cu, a Board Member of U-Go Foundation.
