Junior Content Writer

Instructional Design Unit

The Jr. Content Writer has an integral part of the Instructional Design Unit to support the production of high-quality educational materials through scriptwriting and content production while working alongside a dynamic creative environment. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in crafting compelling narratives and honing skills in script development and video courseware production. The Jr. Content Writer will collaborate closely with the Content Production Specialist and the creative team to bring ideas to life through engaging scripts.

Pre-Production Assistant

Instructional Design Unit

The primary responsibility of the Pre-production Assistant is to assist the project team in doing technical, operational, and administrative work to support the production of high-quality educational video materials for FEU-Tech, FEU Alabang, and FEU Diliman (i.e., checking and monitoring of the project's produced scripts). This position is subdivided into two main tasks - (a) they must be able to check scripts and ensure these scripts adhere to the project's tailored and set guidelines in scriptwriting for educational videos; and endorse to the Script Lead the finality of the script for the production phase and (b) they must be able to demonstrate strong project management skills and proactiveness in working with the Project Lead in overseeing the project.

Qualifications

  • The candidate must have an extensive background in digital arts, entertainment and multimedia computing, or multimedia arts.
  • The candidate must possess above average writing proficiency / skills in English.

  • Check the produced scripts if these follow the set guidelines and template
  • Transcribe and transform course scripts for TechXpert review and production
  • Work closely with the Script Lead in the endorsement and quality assessment of course scripts
  • Provide Project Lead with regular updates, as well as weekly reports regarding the project progress as needed
  • Work with the Art Director and TechXpert to ensure scheduled on-site consultations
  • Check and secure project outputs in the proper cloud drive including but not limited to file migration, email/credentials tagging, and other related processes.
  • Develop content and materials for video production (based on assigned course scripts) under special circumstances and with guidelines set by the Script Lead/Project Lead

We understand that schools and universities have different academic calendars, and students may be available at various times throughout the year. Therefore, we accept interns year-round, and our internship opportunities are not limited to specific application periods. You can apply for internships whenever you are ready, and we will consider applications as they come in.
While it's not a strict requirement, having a good GWA is definitely a plus when applying for our internships. We consider a strong academic record as an asset in the selection process. However, we also consider other factors, such as your skills, experiences, and fit for the specific internship role. So, while a high GPA is beneficial, we encourage all eligible students to apply and showcase their unique qualifications.
