The EdiTH associates and director have demonstrated their dedication and commitment by taking certification exams for various Adobe and Microsoft Office software, including Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft Office PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Word. 

Adobe Certified Professional in Web Authoring using Adobe Dreamweaver

Dr. Garcia and Innovation Unit Full Stack Developer Micah M. Villaruz earned the distinction of Adobe Certified Professional in Web Authoring using Adobe Dreamweaver, an all-in-one visual development tool for creating, publishing, and managing websites and mobile content. The EdITH Director and Full Stack Developer work together to develop cutting-edge educational apps and tools for deeper engagement and accessibility within the institution.

Adobe Certified Professionals in Visual Design using Photoshop

Meanwhile, Virtual Unit Game Developer Clievenze Karl Quejado, Multimedia Designer Owen N. Ualat, and 3D Artist Clark Raven B. Maranan became Adobe Certified Professionals in Visual Design using Photoshop, the world's most powerful imaging and design software.

Quejado, Ualat, and Maranan, members of EdITH's Virtual World Unit, are at the forefront of developing immersive environments that foster in-depth learning. Their work, which combines game design, storytelling, and psychology, is a prime example of their creativity and innovation in making education captivating and intuitive. 

Adobe Certified Professionals in Digital Video using Premiere Pro

Other associates with Adobe certifications were Joshua Rogelyn D. Caparas, Noreen Jem B. Caasi, and Fatima Taymur H. Vargas, who became Adobe Certified Professionals in Digital Video using Premiere Pro, the industry-leading video editing software for film, TV, and the web. 

Caparas, Caasi, and Vargas are video production specialists in EdITH's Instructional Design Unit. The unit focuses on Project Video Courseware, which creates engaging, accessible learning experiences through analysis, design, development, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with educational goals. The associates integrate multimedia and interactive elements to elevate the learning experience in the innovative video-based modules.

Microsoft Office Specialist

Besides Adobe Certifications, two other EdITH associates passed the certification exam for Microsoft Office Specialist. Nicole Angela Ugto, Instructional Design Unit Lead, and Patricia Bianca S. Taculao-Deligero, Content Production Specialist, earned the distinction of PowerPoint Associate for Office 2019 and Word Associate for Office 2019, respectively. 

Microsoft Office is a powerful office suite encompassing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook programs. Earning an MS Office Specialist (MOS) certification validates your competency in these applications. This widely recognized credential showcases your ability to create professional documents, analyze data efficiently, craft impactful presentations, and manage communication effectively—all essential skills across various industries.

As Instructional Design Unit Lead, Ugto ensures that the team follows the department's standard and continues to meet its objectives of creating and pioneering educational content that aligns with the institution's academic goals while promoting new ways to learn. Meanwhile, Taculao-Deligero reviews the content for the Project Video Courseware to meet EdITH's criteria for engaging, educational content.
